Party Supplies is Justin Nealis, a New York City resident who has a thing for manipulating the hell out of tracks from across genre lines and making his own brand of experimental pop. And on his Firecrackers mixtape, the recent Fool’s Gold acquisition is mostly showcasing the remixing side of his skill set. He takes tracks like Arcade Fire’s “We Used to Wait” and Kanye West’s “Hell of a Life” and turns them into, well, you’ll have to hear for yourself. But if you’re looking for a way to get the party started tonight (or this weekend), Nealis is your dude.
