On October 19, Shaheem Reid (XXL & MTV’s Mixtape Monday) and Certified Skateboards hosted Hydroshare’s Launch event the Art of Free at MEET Gallery. The night served as an introduction to the Hydroshare grassroots distribution mantra and a celebration of the first audio-visual project to be released on the direct-to-fan platform: The Ninth Inning EP. Guests included editorial staff from VH1, XXL &, thecouchsessions.com, artists Gonjasufi, Kris Kassanova, & Nola Darling, and a variety of recording industry and web executives.
Guests were also treated to a surprise performance from Marques Toliver.
